This meal is a crowd-pleaser because to the combination of tender paneer (Indian cottage cheese) cubes wrapped in a delicious sauce, packed with a balance of spices and acidic flavours. Learning how to prepare Chilli Paneer at home, regardless of your level of experience in the kitchen, can not only sate your appetite but also wow your loved ones with your culinary prowess. Let's explore the procedures and tricks for making the ideal chilli paneer!
Instructions:
1. To prepare the paneer, combine the cornflour, all-purpose flour, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, chilli sauce, black pepper, and salt in a mixing bowl.
2. To create a smooth, thick batter, gradually add a little water while whisking.
3. Give the paneer cubes a little coating of the marinade, and then let them aside for 15 to 20 minutes.
4. In order to fry the paneer, heat oil in a skillet or wok over a medium-high flame.
5. The marinated paneer cubes should be fried in batches until crisp and golden brown. Take out and place on a paper towel to soak up extra oil.
6. Making the sauce: Drain extra oil from the same pan, leaving roughly a tablespoon left.
7. Add the green chiles, capsicum, and onions in slices. Stir-fry for a few minutes, or until they start to soften.
8. To make the chilli paneer sauce, add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for an additional minute while making sure the raw scent is gone.
9. The sauce base: Reduce the heat and stir in the tomato ketchup, soy sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar, sugar, and black pepper. To blend, thoroughly stir.
Getting the ideal consistency:
1. To create the sauce's foundation, pour in some water or vegetable broth. Give it a minute or two to simmer.
2. The grand finale: Stir the sauce into the fried paneer cubes, making sure they are equally coated.
3. To add flavour and freshness, garnish with chopped spring onions, including the green and white sections.
